Simetrica-Jacobs has been a global leader in social value measurement, wellbeing research, and impact evaluation since 2012. They measure the real-world impact of work by companies, councils, and charities across a wide range of sectors.

Through strategic consultancy and research, Simetrica-Jacobs transforms how to measure what matters most—the value that change brings to people and communities.

Challenge

Simetrica-Jacobs knew it was time to embrace digital transformation and expand their reach to support the growth of their client base. We were introduced through a mutual client. After being recommended, we quickly launched into a discovery process to understand the business foundations, current processes, digital maturity, and their future goals.


Solution

Once we had a clear understanding of their needs, we created a three-step proposal to build the digital foundation Simetrica-Jacobs required. Our aim was to help them reach their full potential and ensure continuous growth.

Their initial goal was to create a content marketing strategy for the next six months. However, our discovery phase revealed gaps in their foundational systems that needed addressing before a marketing strategy could be fully implemented. Working closely with their team, we identified and implemented changes to create a stable digital foundation. Though the scope of the project grew beyond the original plan, we developed a balanced proposal that aligned with Simetrica-Jacobs’ resources, strategy, and goals.


Rebranding

Conducted in-depth research to understand the company’s uniqueness and brand position.

  • Facilitated a brand workshop with the leadership team to validate our research.

  • Presented five initial brand design options, from which three were refined further.

  • Developed detailed visual design guidelines and copy for tone of voice.

  • Created a final brand guideline document to ensure consistency across digital and internal channels.

  • Showcased the evolution of the brand with “before and after” logo designs.


New Website

We designed and developed a new website for Simetrica-Jacobs, focusing on information architecture, content relationships, and user journeys.

How we did it:

  • Conducted a discovery workshop with Simetrica-Jacobs’ leadership, our design team, and brand researchers.

  • Implemented findings from brand work, competitor analysis, business strategies, and digital goals to create the site.

  • Used an agile development approach to build the site, allowing for real-time feedback and continuous improvement.

  • Worked closely with Simetrica-Jacobs throughout the development process to align with their vision.

The website now fully embraces digital principles, with strong SEO, accessibility, and user experience standards. The content management system is user-friendly and scalable, allowing for easy updates and future-proofing. We also implemented Google Analytics to track user behaviours, providing insights for continual optimisation.


LinkedIn Strategy

With exciting new branding and a newly designed/written website, we turned our attention to LinkedIn.

We delivered:

  • Training to the team for data analysis.

  • Created processes to streamline efforts.

  • Developed a comprehensive content plan.

  • Recognised the importance of taking staff on the journey.

  • Empowered the team to keep learning and optimising.
